Milk (2 cups or 500 ml)
Vanilla Custard Powder (4 tbsp)
Sugar (6 tbsp) - Increase/Decrease as per taste
Fruit Cocktail Can - small
Banana - 2
Raspberry for garnishing
Method:
- Take 4 tbsp of custard powder into a bowl and add 1/4 cup of milk. Whisk to make a smooth paste and make sure no lumps are formed
- Boil rest of the milk in a pan by adding 6 tbsp of sugar. Stir and keep boiling until the sugar dissolves completely into the milk
- Now take the pan out from the flame and add the custard paste into it. Keep stirring the milk constantly while adding the paste or else lumps will be formed
- Put the pan again on flame and cook for 1-2 minute depending on the desired consistency, stir continuously to avoid forming lumps in the custard.
- Let it cool down in room temperature
- Add the can of fruit cocktail without the syrup and the bananas into the custard once its completely cooled down and then refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving. You may use the fresh fruit of your choice as well
- Transfer to desired bowls and garnish with a raspberry
